Reception system payments
General information
“Electronic system for accepting payments for market services” is a functional subsystem of the Integrated Automated Banking System of a commercial bank (IABS). This subsystem can be built into the IABS PC or installed on a separate database server, as an independent system not associated with IABS. The subsystem ensures payment acceptance : - payment for a retail outlet (counter, store), issuance of receipts, patta, for the use of scales, carts, for renting premises, for parking vehicles and for other services provided in the markets. - for the provision and accounting of seats in cinemas, theaters, concert halls, etc.
Compound
The subsystem consists of software modules that ensure the operation of automated workstations (AWS) for the subsystem administrator, payment acceptance point cashier, and market controller. Users are provided with access to the workstation through computers on which Internet Explorer is installed, after entering the username and corresponding password. User registration, passwords and access rights are set by the subsystem administrator. Also, the administrator's workstation has the ability to put the system into operation in new markets (registering a market in the system, registering services provided by a given market, creating a market map, determining pricing policy, etc.), without developer intervention.
The cashier's workstation allows accepting payments for services, printing receipts, viewing a market map, which automatically records the places of sale of goods for which receipts were issued, and also provides viewing of relevant reports.
Through the market controller's workstation, access to which is granted to users of branches, minibanks and the Head Bank, the functions of opening and closing the market, operational monitoring of the actions of payment acceptance points, registration and removal of damaged receipts from the database, and receipt of reports in the established form are provided.
Advantages
All information in the Subsystem is stored in a single database managed by the Oracle DBMS. The system was developed using Intranet technologies, the use of which provides a number of advantages:
Versatility
access information with a single user interface, regardless of platform
Openness
use of standard and open protocols and document formats
Простота эксплуатации
не требует дополнительного обучения персонала, усложнение системы не требует переобучение пользователей
