Swift Central Asian Conference in Almaty brought together delegates from banks in five Central Asian countries for substantive discussions on topics such as innovation, seamless transactions and compliance. The conference featured speakers from both the Swift organization itself and representatives of the banking community/regulators from 5 Central Asian countries. The Chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan was invited to the opening of the event.
