Islamic Banking in Uzbekistan: Technologies, Investments, and New Opportunities for Banks

On July 16, 2026, Fido Business Academy hosted a closed industry event: "Islamic Banking in Uzbekistan: Technologies, Investments, and New Opportunities for Banks." It brought together representatives of banks, microfinance organizations, fintech companies, regulators, and industry experts to discuss practical issues related to the development of Islamic banking in Uzbekistan.

Participants examined global market trends, strategic approaches to the development of Islamic banking, and practical models for implementing Islamic financial products. A separate panel presented the FB Islamic Finance platform ("Islamic Window")—a microservices-based solution that enables the launch of Islamic financial products without upgrading existing IT infrastructure.
